We have our major fundraising event of the year coming up to support Juvenile/Type 1 diabetes research. October 29th is our JDRF DAY! It’s a Saturday, and we’ll be here from 10am-2pm. All our health care providers are donating 100% of the proceeds from services provided on this special day to to JDRF! We also are offering our relaxation stations- the Spinalator Back Soother and Oasis Sound-Light Therapy table by donation of any amount. Chair massage will be available for a suggested donation of $1 per minute. Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Table Massage treatments can be scheduled in advance for this special Saturday. There will also be a used book sale and a great bake sale!
And THE WALK TO CURE DIABETES is on November 5th, the next Saturday, at Savannah Rivers Rapids park in Augusta. It is a gorgeous setting on the Savannah Rivers headwaters and the Augusta Canal. The Walk Starts at 2:30. Please join our team, Kinsey’s Cure, by registering online at www.JDRF.org. Look for the Augusta, GA walk, and select Kinsey’s Cure as your team. We’d love for you to ask your friends and family for donations, but just by being there you are showing your support for Dr. Hammond-Beyer’s daughter Kinsey and the many other children and young adults with this life-threatening autoimmune disease.
