CHIROPRACTIC
Today’s hectic pace and the mishaps of life can result in an abused and neglected spine and associated joints, muscles,
tendons, and ligaments. Hammond-Beyer Health Center’s chiropractors offer gentle, specific spinal manipulative therapy
as well as extremity adjusting. They specialize in a full range of chiropractic services and will devise an individualized
treatment plan for each patient.

Dr. Jay Rising is a second generation chiropractor and is a graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College. With over 15
years’ experience in private practice in Virginia and South Carolina, Dr. Rising specializes in sports injury and extremity
adjusting as well as family chiropractic care. Techniques that are used include Trigger Point Therapy, Thompson Drop
Table, Diversified, Activator, Toggle Recoil for Upper Cervical Technique, Sacral Occipital Technique, and custom
made Footlever Orthotics.

While Dr. Kim Hammond-Beyer is currently accepting only a limited number of new patients, she is happy to do
consultations, evaluations, treatment plans, and follow up. Dr. Hammond-Beyer is a 1985 graduate of Palmer College of
